Dear Oleg,

With PF coming soon and BoB in the distant future I would like to request a few more maps before the end of IL-2/AEP.

Right now I think that the ETO is not complete due to the lack of maps. I would like to request the following maps to put a nice finish to IL-2/AEP. I think that if some of these maps were added we can actually recreate the 3 speared offensive of the German Army in Operation Barbarossa.

Northern Sector
1.Kaliningrad/Klapeida,
2.Gulf of Riga, and,
3.Novgorod

Central Sector
1.Minsk, and,
2. Bryansk Front

Southern Sector
1.Odessa,
2.Kharkov,
3.Kiev, and,
4.Dniepropetrovsk

Bonus Map
1.Bucharest/Ploesti

I know maps are very hard and time consuming to create and that we will be getting a Murmansk map in the near future but I think some of these additional maps would put a nice finish to this great sim.

Once again THANK YOU for your time and effort on such a great WW2 flight simulator.

Any suggestions or comments are welcome.

Luthier posted that placing Building Objects on the maps were the hardest part of map making...and are what causes the performance problems.

If they ease up on the Building Objects, they could turn out maps much faster, put them on Map CD, and Get Rich Quick. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

We Mission Builders can place Building Objects in our missions and offer them for download as populated maps. This would work GREAT!!!!

IMHO most important maps are those where many fights occured at very different stages of the Great Patriotic War. Bryansk, Karkhov and Kiev come to mind
