I just read rbj's trim thread. What is the issue here? I only play IL2 (waiting for the patch for FB) and the only time I use trim is when Im flying long distances so it does not pitch up so much. I only use elevator trim. I fly a 109 and there seems to be no rudder trim, wish there was cause the 109 will fly left if no opposite rudder is applied.

do any other trim imputs work in IL2 other than elevator? Also, what positive combat effects does trim have in turning? if any.

Thanks guys

You can turn better at high speeds and you can level off fast for more accurate shooting with the stick near the center.

thanks rbj. Does any of the other trim imputs work in IL2? Other than rudder, I don't notice any.

The rudder is trimmed on the 109's in FB. Except the K4, which is out of trim, but actually has rudder trim. Both are bugs which should be fixed in the patch.

The K-4 has Rudder Trim in FB - Not in real life.

This will change in the patch
