So you can share the web-sites you use to learn (like the translation site would have been good -- LOL) from, whether it be politics, computers, chemistry, whatever! (provided this is ok w/ the mods... unsure)....

I'll start.... when in doubt about what a PC jargon means such as RAM, AGP, DirectX anything to do w/computers, type the term into the search box on this web:

www.webopedia.com (http://www.webopedia.com)

And it will give you the description! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

When you've got some problem reading (well, I know I do), go to www.dictionary.com (http://www.dictionary.com) , the best web-dictionary in the entire world wide web (if you can come up with the better site, please do).

My friends and I (all 4.0+ students) are working on creating a webpage to help High Schoolers primarily, though everyone in general. I wish it were up by now, though we're having trouble finding the money because we're non-profit. One of out biggest problems has been finding a web host, though we recently found one that may offer hosting to us for free, or if not, we found a small business that will be willing to pay for our website in exchange for us making their site for them. We're also lacking the money for a forum needed for a sort of online tutoring station. All in all, we come up about $250 dollars short, but as soon as we can make that money, expect to see it up. It should be up soon, as in within the next few months, so I'll let you know and hopefully you can contribute. (The website is based on people sharing information in a forum (as well as through research papers, reports, etc.) that is thus administered to make sure it is accurate. Of course, for all of the chit-chat we'll have to meet up on the Splinter Cell Forums, for chit-chat of the sort found here will not be tolerated there. It will be a clean, educational website/forum with strict rules, though it will undoubtedly be a great resource for students, teachers, and everyone else alike.

If any of you are interested, I'll post more info about it, for we can use all the publicity we can get. The more people know about it, the better, for you all probably know how hard it is to get the forums on a webpage flourshing (like they are here).

No need telling you the URL yet, but I will let you know when its up and running. (We have 4 domains for mirror sites to reduce traffic, etc.) As you all have noticed, you cannot even get to www.schoolnotes.com (http://www.schoolnotes.com) right before finals or SATS.
