Hi

Is there anyone out there currently modeling any swedish A/C like Saab B-17 or B 18 J21 or J-22?

of curse some day hoppely we see Glosester Gladiator (in Swedish J8 ) and CR 42 (J 11)

I haven't seen anything m8...

I'd love to see the J22 - the early one....

Xanty har gjort ett snyggt svenskt skin f¶r J11:an och den kommer v¤l s¥ sm¥ningom, tillsammans med Gladiatorn f¶rhoppningsvis. Flygvapnet fl¶g ju faktisk Mustangen ocks¥ (J26) s¥ i framtiden kommer det iallafall finnas tre fpl som man utan d¥ligt samvete kan flyga i svenska f¤rger. Svenskbyggda fpl som J22:an kan vi nog bara dr¶mma om tyv¤rr.

well im not the right guy to anwser that, but we are a big swedish communty , and would be nice to try it out!!!!!!

I checked a few numbers and as it turns out, the J 22 and the Spitfire mk I both have almost the same weight and horsepower so an educated guess would be that they have somewhat similar performance. But bear in mind that the J 22 entered operational service in 1943 so it was a newer design than the Spitfire Mk I. A contemporary Spitfire such as a Mk V or Mk IX almost certainly would have been a better fighter IMO.

It would be nice to some some Swedish planes as it would not be too unrealistic to imagine German, Finnish, or Soviet planes accidentally straying over the border and getting intercepted by the Swedes. Although it reached service a little late, I'd love to fly the J21 - along with the Do-335 one of the truly unique European oddball designs to reach production status.
