found this the other day while checking out the news about the mars mission. I thought it was ultra-interesting. See if you can pick out what planes are what. Check out some of the other pics from the list to the left. oh yea, and by the way, you can zoom in and move around the image by left clicking the mouse on the pic

That picture brings tears to my eyes. My namesake, an F111F "Aardvark", tail number 892, is somewhere in the boneyard. One of these days I'm gonna sneak in there and take a piece off of my airplane home with me as a souvenier. The Air Force is stupid.

And if you put your cursor over any spot on the BIG pic and LEFT click, it will zoom in to that spot. Wait a bit and it'll re-focus.

Right click and it zooms out again.

Heh,

I live like less than a mile fromthe boneyard so I see all that comes in there. Currently they have C-5's comming in from all over the country. The very first C-5 is here, yet they are dismantling it for spare parts not preserving it. Kinda stinks but the C-5's are few and far between.

On the east side of the boneyard they have special bunkers and hangars for classified stuff. They do have the very first F-117 that was ever produced as well as the SR-71's that are still flyable and not allocated to museums or NASA, as well as the D-21 drones they carry.

Interesting stuff
