I want to make a rear area US airbase with several US aircraft, and one or two allied aircraft sitting still as if being repaired/transferred/mustered as a rendezvous point for a mission.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to position unmanned aircraft. With manned a/c, I could just assign a turn point and the a/c would face that position if I had them at altitude zero, right? Well, I can't quite seem to figure out how to make static a/c face any position I want. What am I doing wrong?
