I don't understand how a major part of the moveset of assassins can be so hard to use. Sure anyone can parry attacks, light or heavy. (Besides PK lights only gods can parry that)
My problem is with the usefulness of deflect. It's presented as the agile assassin's alternative to parry, yet in the time it takes for a light attack to come at you you do not have the time required to dodge perfectly in the direction of the attack. I even find it difficult to deflect Warden slashes sometimes. It doesn't make sense that he can bring some attacks out faster than Orochi honestly.

Also wtf is with their names? "Parry" is more of a deflect, and "Deflect" seems more like parrying.

I know this post has no structure, I just needed to vent about this and see if someone shared my opinions.

I can not parry light attacks. At least not reliably.

One frame is just too small fot me on console.

Its harder to parry only because the dash speed is various from hero to hero. So you have to learn the timing of your opponents attacks, and your own dash speed..
