Assassins can parry crushing-counter-strike (top parry with the light button on warden).
Is this intended?

*a normal parry guarantees a hit but the crushing-counter-strike can be parried?! Makes no sense to me.

*here's a video example: (randomly chosen from google)

There's a video of a PK doing it too. Dunno if the Berserker can do it though.

It's probably because it's not counted as a true parry + follow up. It doesn't parry the incoming strike but essentially blocks it if timed correctly. And then itself is becomes an unblockable strike in return, I think, and thus parryable.

yeah wildbill69 was testing it with viewers yesterday night; orichi, berserker and pk can all do it.

Every character can parry it, as it is technically an attack on its own.

got a video? pretty sure it only works on assassins, (worked easily on all 3 assassins but couldn't reproduce with valk at all, for example)
*anyways, the point of the thread isn't about who can do it but why can it be done at all (doing a normal parry will always be better while this is a thing.)

I don't have a video, however, I have done it on occasion with my Lawbringer.

Well this sucks.

It kills the only counter attack the warden has.

Although it's hard to pull it off, it kinda does. Hopefully it will be considered as a bug and fixed. It will be like removing the guaranteed property of the PK/Orochi/Valk... deflect attacks.

The heavy deflect attack of the orochi can be interrupted though. But you need a fast light or zone attack.

But the orochis heavy deflect does a s**t-load of damage. Far more, than most counter attacks. That justifies it being interruptable.

No, only assassins can parry Counterstrike, other classes suffer a little stagger animation after being hit by Crushing Counterstrike so you cant parry.
