View Full Version : Block into free guardbreak works as intended?

I recently noticed that a block gives a free guardbreak. I can't imagine that this is something that works as intended. I mean the defensive meta is already strong enough. So why should a defensive player get rewarded with a free gb after a block and the attacking player gets punished for this?

It depends on what you block. After some attacks its free like Valks top dash attack for example...

This is correct, Warden's Zone attack is another attack that when blocked provides a free GB

If you block a light attack, it's like a parry, so some classes can GB right after that.
