My wife struck gold at a swap meet, and brought me back a couple of books she thought I might like.

One of them was Larry Forrester's "Fly For Your Life", detailing the short, but eventful career of Robert Stanford Tuck, an RAF ace of 29 victories from Dunkirk to early '42, when he was shot down and captured in France.

Excellent storytelling, and some good detail on the 'quirks' of the aircraft he flew.

Yes, even I can enjoy a good book about Spits. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Highly recommended.

M8. I've been chasing "Fly For Your Life" since flairs and paisley shirts were the go.

Buy your wife a bunch of flowers.
