View Full Version : Oleg: Targets Destroyed Messages To Hosts

Oleg and team.

When playing a coop game and one side has a Target, the only person that sees the message, ie. 'Primary Target Destroyed', is the host.

Can this be fixed so that everyone sees that message?

Is there currently a work around for this besides forcing the host to notify everyone?

Does disabling messages include the target destroyed messages?

We need more control of what is displayed in on-line games.

Ability to Show/Hide "Lag-o-Meter" (client configurable)
Ability to Supress "Kill messages" (host AND client configurable - but if HOST disables, this would supercede client)
Ability to Supress "Chat Dialog" (client configurable)

There is a setting for that.
Haven't tried it yet. It's in the conf.ini

Online Stat Messages...

The server hosting an online game may set the level of detail of the server auto-generated stat messages. The level is set in the config.ini file in the IL-2 folder, in section [chat], in the autologDetail key.
Eg.:
[chat]
autologDetail = 3

You can set the keys to the following options:
0 = disables all stat messages
1= Only player vs. player kill msg.s are displayed
2= player vs. player and AI vs. player msgs. are displayed
3= alot of chit chatting


Off to test the target destroyed message now...

still displayed the target destroyed just to the host with this set to 0.
