BF110 easy to shoot down or what?

all you need to do is get at 45degrees and nail the canopy.

the crew die instantly!

anyone got easy kill locations on planes post them here.

That one works on almost every plane.

Funny..Last time i flew a 111, an IL2 attacked me. Sat right behind me with me being the back gunner...saw a sudden spark on the IL2s canopy suddenly and down he went. PK.

Never discuss with stupid people.
They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I'm flying the 110 in a campaign, and it does seem a bit fragile. I've had to limp home on one engine many times. But that also might be why it wasn't used much, outclassed so quickly.

History shows that the 110C had short-lived success in Poland and during the Blitzkreigs going west. They were heavy, not maneuverable in the way a 1940+ fighter had to be, and no match for the Spits or the Hurricanes in the BoB.

But the LW adapted them as nightfighters and, with heavy armament, used them as interceptors in '43 and '44. In North Africa, where the LW enjoyed air superiority for a time, the 110C became a close support a/c around and ahead of the armor columns. The planned replacement by the 210 didn't work out because of that plane was unstable and dangerous.

Flying a 110 in RL was hazardous duty. It's the same in FB, I think. Still, it's fun to fly and, with the M108, can do serious damage to a B-17G...assuming you last long enough to get in range.

yup, I enjoy fling it and I love the firepower. That 37mm gun can be really hard to hit with, but I'm working on it.

For PE-8's carrying the big bomb: take out 1 engine

Other planes: Cockpit, Radiators and Engines..

IL2: Get right below it and hit the radiator with 1 20MM or bigger..(tricky but it can be done...i've read it in an article somewhere that German Aces used this tactic..)

I've found the best but hardest way is to approach the enemy at a high deflection angle and really fast. This espeically works if you your lucky enough to be flying with a cannon. Ussually you can saw off a wing or two easily!!

I found the best way to take out an enemy aircraft is to ram them. Works well offline. Now so well online. I was in my P-38 when I rammed a Zero. My P-38 bounced off him and blew up into a million peaces. The Zero had no damage. God I REALLY hate the collision detction online. It makes ramming people very iffy.

Put one cannon round between a spitfires pilot and engine and it blows up every time
BOOM!
