My point exactly. I like the idea of PF and am interested and enthusiastic about its possibilities. BUT!... WHAT ABOUT AEP?

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... Uh, what? Thunak? You say something here? Let's see... we've got stories from Granny and some purdy pictures of what we may or may not get, that may or may not be flyable.

How about a guestimate on when the patch will be released or a status report or something, anything on the subject? Come on ThuDude, throw a dog a bone! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Noob question:

BoB will be a new standalone game, and PF will be another addon to IL2:FB, like Ace Expansion?

rcorporon:

- PF will be stand alone on FB engine, but possibly (not sure yet) will include the whole FB if installed over it.

- BoB will be stand alone on a new graphic engine (2005/2006).

Cheers!

@ Snuffy: I second that!!! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Well, nice pics in that update, especially the Fw-200 is interesting for me.

But I agree with some others here, since we are expected to get B-25 interiors sometime this year, how about some pics from that bird? That is, of course, if 1C already has the interiors... but I recall the image of a B-25 cockpit that was posted in dev updates sometime around last christmas... so... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Oh,and this ain't a whine! Overlall, I REALLY LIKE THIS UPDATE! Honest!

Thankyou for the Update guys!
I was looking forward to seeing the Kate, I knew that sooner or later we would see a pic of her.
I can already see myself and Wingy flying in close underneath the USS Enterprise AA guns at Midway and drop our torpedoes, while Wildcats from the Enterprise are engaged in desperate do or die combat with our Zero fighter Escorts.

Are the updates in chronological order?

And I can already see you burstin' up in flames with your wingy while repeatedly trying to complete the attack. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I think I heard luthier mentioning once that attacking a carrier battle group (it's unlikely the Enterprise is alone) is VERY dangerous.

You might wanna try your luck against the Tirpitz and 3 or 4 escorting gunships, and see how often you'll sleep with da fishes - just for comparison. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Well perhaps, you may have overlooked the Vals diving on the Enterprise at the same time drawing the AA Concentration away to some extent, in a co ordinated Dive bomber torpedoe bomber attack.

I think this would be an interesting aspect of Pacific fighters, especially when building Coop Missions.
You would have to time your flight for Human players to attack at around the same time as your AI attacked.
This is a challanging aspect I am looking forward too.
As an example, you could choose which aircraft have the Multiplayers flying them or mix them in, say Human Multiplayers in the Vals diving from above on the Enterprise with two seperate groups of Kates attacking the Carrier from either side.
You could set the Zero fighter escorts for each group as Ai Veteren, because that would be their true skill level, and have yourself a good time in a Kate or a Val.
