View Full Version : Is it me? or the P-39's are easier to fly in AEP?

I originally found the P-39's to be a hard plane to control specially with the easy spins and stalls. Now flying em on AEP, the 'sensitivity' to spins seems to be gone and I can recover easier now.

I like Mig 3's and the Zero's but if the P-39 handles like the Yak-9's for me, something is weird. I doubt that I had just gotten better at flying for it to be this different http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Any thoughts?

BTW I have P-39 experience from IL-2 and FB as well as AEP.

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.
