If you have a problem with Uplay, then so be it. We all know Uplay matchmaking sucks so there is no argument there.
But can you people stop complaining about For Honor being P2P? Do most of you not realise that EVERY fighting game is P2P for a reason? Do your research before crying in the forum, there are bigger issues in the game than your lack of knowledge.

And one of those issues relates to character balance, because if the game remains the way it is now, you are only going to see 3 characters (4 for 2vs2's), in every tournament at high levels as they are fundamentally flawed in this game.

But was it a good idea to make a game that goes up to 4vs4 a p2p game? nope.

The "only" reason why p2p is used, even in fighting games is..... saving on expenses. Anyone who claims/thinks otherwise is full of bs or gullible af... period.

OP is right though. They won't change it... so it's useless to complain about it for the rest of this game's lifespan.

It's only a standard because of people like yourself willing to accept it.

Those of us with actual standards, know P2P worsen the online experience, make any hope of a balanced game impossible, and simply make more money for the developer because they don't have to hire and maintain servers, or put a decent amount of effort into ensuring their netcode is up to snuff.

So of course one of the worst developers in history isn't going to bother with any of that, when people like you will ignorantly white knight them.

People are
complaining about the right issues.

As we can clearly see Ubisoft's infrastructure of choice was a terrible pick. Nobody cares if it works in other games, because none of these games is as complex as For Honor. It doesn't work in this title and since the entire game is more or less built around multiplayer, people might as well argue the game is broken and they have a point. This is unacceptable for a AAA title in 2017!

A competitive AAA title with the ****tiest matchmaking in history is unacceptable.
We all know Uplay matchmaking sucks so there is no argument there. is not an argument. Would you go to see a boxing match where the current world champion fights some amateur no-name? Or how about a soccer/football world cup where the current top teams play the peewee team from some no-name elementary school? A AAA title worth 60$ that's built around competitive fighting and doesn't have proper, fair matchmaking is a bad joke! The point is that the matchmaking can't suck. You can't have a car built by the indigenous population of Stone Age Islands, claim it's as good as a Ferrari and charge a permium price for it.

You can't possibly be that ignorant, dude!

Ubisoft, it's ****ing 2017 for crying out loud! If you charge premium prices for your games, your service damn well better be premium, too.
