The light AAA placements - whether on ground or ship - seem to have an excessive rate of fire, and the very high proportion of tracer rounds (1:1?) results in quite a slow down when lots of them are engaging.
I don't have a problem with their accuracy or general effectiveness (currently they are pretty good at deterring casual intrusion into the protected zone).
But their rate of continuous fire is over the top IMHO - the guns would have to be electrically belt fed and cryo cooled to sustain what we see in game (though its very impressive http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif).
I believe a pause here and there to change magazines and a lower ratio of tracer would be desireable for both realism and frame rate (especially online).

Cheers

Ps - I don't agree with the argument that one gun actually represents several in game, to my knowledge that view has never been supported by 1C.
