View Full Version : HUMOR: Foods in WWII Uboats

I see they have foods hanging in the subs in out sim. I know the fresh foods were eaten first as some would spoil like eggs and fruits. Do we get to feed our crew? I can see there can be moral issues with the types of foods eaten. Not when they eat but the after effects.

Watch moral drop like a rock when they are fed nothing but eggs and beans. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Yes but we will be the commanders of our subs and we will dine in the officers quarters with an 'al a carte' (menu) that would make the Hilton ashamed.

I hope to have my own personal Cook and Valet on board.

I will dine on my own as I wont mingle with the riff raff. My Cabin should be fitted with a fridge, air conditioning, cocktail cabinet and coffee perculator too.

Life aboard my sub for me will be comfortable, as for the crew, well LOL they follow orders.

Yes indeed so have no worries, you will be the commander and chilling out with a caraf of wine and a smoked salmon lunch or maybe roast duck a la orange with baby sweet poatoes and petit poit, will be the order of the day...for you as the commander anyway.
So dont worry about the catering, as the commander you will always have the best reserved for you, becuase you will order it so LOLhttp://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Hehe! sounds good. I like that plan.

For me I would further beef up the ideas of the both of us and have an additional Tanning/massage compartment bringing our overall length our sub to about 15 feet longer. This would be for the whole crew to use and soon moral can be at an all time high again. Great for calming some of the more nervous members of the crew who cant take depth charge attacks too much.

"Yes yes, be calm now. It will be over soon. Think of the father land. Think of good times with Mary Jane rotten crotch. Yes yes remember..."

There that should do it now the crew member could sleep like a baby through any DC attack.

There would be a few non-combatant women on board for this task. Maybe some men for any women crew members out there. Im all for co-ed! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

When its supper time I want to hear a bell. And also I want a mascot to bring along with me maybe 2. My dog Lockjaw and my cat Pause.

You go 'play' in your outdated Games Room. I'll just head down the spiral staircase past the bowling alley, Olympic swimming pool w/high dive, go-cart track, paintball field then into the newest addition, our 'Holo-Deck'. Why sit at a monitor and pretend when you could be 'in the action'? Just be careful of the 'reality' settings. Safety interlocks could have been overridden by the previous user!

Okay, let me see if I have this part straight: You are in your private space playing a computer simulation representing being aboard a small, cramped submarine during the second world war, but you've modified the game to have many modern comforts, including a game room or even a holographic projection room, which you then use to recreate a small, cramped submarine during the Second World War, but you then modify the game to have a.......

I know, In you cabin you need a computer (or game room, or holodeck) so you can run a real-world simulation, like The Sims, so you can then get an AI girlfriend whom you can drive crazy because you're ignoring her while you play your computer simulation representing being aboard a small, cramped submarine..... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/53.gif

In my sub, I'll get Lawrence Llewellyn Bowen in, tear out all the pointless fittings (who needs a periscope in the sea?, and those torpedo tubes are just an eyesore) I'l get good old Lawrence to design me a huge medieval castle look as he usually does, perhaps knock a few walls down in places to open out the rooms. That way I'll get a nice ocean view. I'll place a classy chandleier where the periscope used to be. I'll have a luv shack for all those nurses who will come aboard to tend to our 'injuries'. Life will be good. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Its quite simple. The entire Sub will undergo a refit to incorporate all of the above mentioned.
BUT, the sub will STILL be combat operational.

This has been made possible by,
1. the torpedoes will now be 6 inches long, 2 inches wide.
2. the periscope will be a jewelers eyepiece.
3. the engine, yes just 1 engine will be out of a Trabant.
4.The TDC will be replaced by a Commodore 64.
5.The Hydrophones replaced by an upturned tumbler held against the side of the hull.
6.the radio will now be 2 bean cans attached to a length of string.

All of these modifications gives us all the extra room needed for the refit. No longer is it cramped but open a spacious.

Well, except on his boat the captain's cabin is in an isolated spot where no crewman can ever see in (the sight of his cabin girl alone would be enough to make them mutiny). All he has to do is every now and then show his face and say something like "I'm gettin SICK of beans and mashed potatoes!".

Why are you about to Mutiny for Sailorsteve. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

When you get your Sub, you will be the Captain of it, hence, the Al a Carte AND the Wine List is applicable to you, as its only for the Captain.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v463/RedTerex/big-grin.gif

All of the exquisite extras will also be yours because...you will be the Captain of your sub.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v463/RedTerex/boucyblue.gif

Yes you the Commander, Captain or Kapitan zur See, whatever title you think best suits you.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v463/RedTerex/aniwink.gif

Any and all grand feasting and drinking Banquets that are held on your sub are in your own Captains quarters, the crew will never know about it http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

All the wines and delicacies are put aboard in boxes marked 'machine parts' or 'weather instuments' the crew never suss it out ever http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif and Mutiny is avoided.

Would you like to join me and a few other Captains in a Caraf of fine red wine?http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v463/RedTerex/aniwink.gif

Bananas and Hams will still be available to the Captain ProfWizard because most of em will be in my private fridge, along with many many other delicatesants http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

My private fridge by the way is disguised as an old cupboard door with a calanader stuck to the outside LOL.

Neat yeah you bet its neat, the whole set up for my enjoyable experience and leisure while the crew sweats it out and runs the sub, hehe I will just relax, languish, chill, feast, drink and show my face now and again to say how rough it is etc LOL.

Heres to...er....er...a happy sub *burp* ooops sorry forgive me! and a happy * burp* oops,! crew...oohh its this this Prawn, shrimp and Lobster salad accompanied with Oyster sauce and Bollinger Champagne, its is a wee bit too rich for me !

Of course I can break it up by dining with the crew on say Thursdays and muck in by eating Sauerkraut, Boiled Sausage and Mash. This would at least give my tum a chance LOL http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif plus an additional bonus of "hey I eat what you eat guys" etc, pacify the buggers for a bit and then back to my own exquisite banquets http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

hehe I might look stupid but er...er...haha..not so! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/34.gif

Chill and appear at action stations to get the credit for a ship kill etc but otherwise dont sweat it..the crew will do that for you LOL.

Chill-Easy, Chill-Easy and dont get involved unless you have to. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

As long as you show your face and look a bit dour and bleak where appropriate, Happy and optomistic where required you will never have a mutiny or any bad vibes from the crew.

Shine em on guys.
