I'm just wondering. Aside from the cluster bombs, I don't see a difference in these 3 types of bombs?

This is where I found the difference in the bomb types:

http://www.ww2guide.com/bombs.shtml

According to that site, the SC type bombs are general purpose and most abundant type bombs, SD are semi-armor piercing, and PC are armor piercing.

I can see where each would be used in real life, but is there any difference in game? For instance, is there any time a high ordnance PC bomb is better than a SC or SD? Cuz so far I haven't noticed, even when bombing supposed 'fortifications' like in Normandy missions.
