What if unparryable attacks existed. Basically the opposite of unblockables you can block but can't parry. Similar to unblockables but with a different symbol and colour.

You would then shift the game from trying to parry attacks to just blocking...
Parrying is only good because it CAN stop unblockables, and can mitigate damage that block doesn't, you would just be trading one evil for another i fear.

As i've said many times before....

Just have blocking cost stamina. Done. Problem solved. (Dodging should have stamina as well). Block when out of stamina = fall down free heavy.

Adding in stamina costs to block and dodge would really fix a lot of issues.
