Read somewhere that someone used a different dll with the 4.5 cats that sorted out the slow down when using perfick settings.

Just done the same using the 4.1 ATIOGLXX.DLL and sure enough I can get perfick with little or no stuttering. Temporary fix for this as most new games use directx and so this is only for the opengl type game issues.

To get the file just download 4.1 driver set and extract then expand the file atioglxx.dl_ and place it in your c:\Windows\System32 directory making sure YOU BACKUP your existing file before you overwrite.

Everybody probably already does this fix but failed to tell me. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

4.5 Cats give better directx performance for FarCry and stuff I believe.
