This guy (TW_S*******-F) on my team, he literally watched teammates die so that he can 1v1 duel in a 4v4 game. And it was all he did the entire game.

What the hell is wrong with these people trying to 1v1 in a team game.
Why he didn't go play his 1v1?

Can we have a vote kick system?

Thats actually what a lot of people call an "honorable" play style. He lets you (the teammate) handle his 1v1 match and if they can't win and they die, he steps up and fights them 1v1.

Its not a bad thing. Unless he loses that 1v1 after his teammate dies.

I'd use the quick chat feature and say "I got this!" for when I don't want a teammate to help, and then you can use "Team Up!" when you want their help.

Who the hell has time to press any additional button while fighting? That's just beyond me.

It's a team game and you chose to enter this game mode. It's 100% voluntary.

Agreed - it's nothing against people who would prefer help in a fight like that - but for me personally, if I'm squared off with an opponent and one of my teammates is near by, I DON'T want them to intervene. My opponent deserves a fair chance to beat me. I'd rather die in a fair fight then win the fight because my teammate rammed a sword through my opponent's back.

On the counter, obviously we want to win the match, so I understand if our team is on the ropes and we're making a last stand. I guess it all depends on the situation!

When I played basketball, to be honorable, I would stop playing defense when we were ahead so that the other team could catch up before I started to help my team again....

If we had a vote kick sistem you should be kicked, not him.Your attitude is why duels have always low activity. In a 1v1,you don't need help.If your opponent beats you,he won fair and square. If he wins against you and then against me,it's a great player. You know, someone likes to play honorably to get a win, rather than thinking only at the easyest way to win.People are not dishonorable if they let you die in a fair duel:learn how to fight instead to blame the team.

Oh,and if you would argue:for duels play the duel mode, that's probably what a lot of honorable players like me do.Unfortunately, the daily quest are pretty much always on elimination,so we have to step down and get in this casual mess without values.

I do the same, lol. Always waiting and watching them die. I only prevent executes tho. But just with a GB.

He does the right thing because of a simple and very powerfull game mechanic.... the revenge mode!

If he joins the fight the rage bar will skyrocket immediatly and every single decent player (and above) will pretty much destroy both of you with ease.

I love it if i'm about to lose and a second enemy joins the fight.... he turns the tide in my favor.

Only new players and players who are not so good at all (or make mistakes) lose against 2 at once.

Tldr
"Revengemode > second teammate"

Its 4v4 not 4x 1v1^^

Sadly, you're right. But this doesn't mean that you have to back stab anyone fighting a duel.Usually if I win mine I guard the body id i didn't get and execution or go near a teammate fighting to protect him from enemy gankers. If he dies,I'll stop the enemy before he executes him. That's the best I can do for you if you lose a 1v1.

Yeah sorry.

I will NEVER jump in on a fight unless its in Dominion and even THEN I only do it if the game is on the line or if its already an eneven fight against my teammate.

In 4v4, 2v2 and 1v1 I will ALWAYS respect the 1v1 regardless if the game is on the line and make sure everyone gets a fair chance to prove themselves. Because if that guy can go through my teammate AND me then he deserves the win. I'm not gonna be some cheap jerk and dive in on a fight just to make sure we win. To me thats a hollow victory.

ESPECIALLY if the other team is ALSO respecting the 1v1. If the other team is gang fighting then its up to the player to decide if they wanna stoop to their level.

If it is 4v4 then it is by definition not a duel.

Rather useless to play with words,it could even be 32v32 like bf,this doesn't stop duels to happen.

Going by wikipedia on duel:
"A duel is an arranged engagement in combat between two individuals with matched weapons in accordance with agreed-upon rules." Well we dont have matched weapons. Mostly. But we do have agreed-upon rules. Just like when it comes to normal real life civil law - if something is not forbidden then it is allowed. So. In 2v2 it is allowed to fight 2v1 cause it is possible and not punished by devs. They also implemented whole system and taught you how to play vs multiple opponents.

So...either it is duel but with allowed 2v1 or it is not duel. True duel is 1v1. You want duel, go play duel. You want two or more people fighting 1 or more people play 2v2,4v4. Simple

I think you misuderstood my point.I'm not cryng over 2v1 duels:they're unfair to me,but the game let you do that,so it can be done, fair and square.I'm explaining why some people, including me,refuse to break a duel in 4v4 mode to let the best player win said duel.1v1 is what I play 90% of the time.Sadly, the quest give you more steel on dm,so I have to play some games.

Bottom line is:you're free to play like a brawl and gank people, just like I'm free to let you die fighting your opponent alone.Neither of those things is against rules, and the money that we have payed on the game allows us total control of our gameplay,as long as we don't break the ubisoft rules.

Aye, but i got quite good response to such behaviour. I simply win my fight and make your whole waiting boring and useless :D

Actually I used this time to choose what hero I should main.I've yet to decide between kensei and orochi, but I think that even with another 50 answers I could come here without an answer to that question ; )

There is nothing honourable in stupidity. If you abandon your advantage because of some stupid code then it is not honourable or respectful. Just stupid. Look at the other games based on fighting. MMO, MOBA, Shooters, RTS, FPS, TPS, you name the type...if you sacrifice fairly gained advantage(killing his teammate) and you decide to throw it away cause you have some "rules" then you are losing on purpose.

Chivalry? Bushido? Nine Noble Virtues? These these ARE from real life.... so yes, people in real war (not 4v4 video game for points... 1k vs 1k?) would still fight honorably. Samurai didnt run when defeated - they would kneel and wait for their beheading - if not they eviserated themselves for failing - Seppuku.

So people behaving like this in a video is not that absurd... People replicating real life - in a video game replicating real combat between honorable warriors...

Keep crying cuz you cant handle your 1v1 or your 1v3... DUES VULT!
