Wouldn't it be cool to have the Doolittle raid as a single mission ?
Tryin' to get those B-25s to take off of a carrier deck would be really cool .
Of course it would be a very dangerous mission since all of the Mitchells were void of machine guns to help reduce weight .

In the realm of historics, a Yamoto in Bettys with a P-38 intercept would be quite cool also.

The Doolittle raid would take hours if it started from the carriers. All the way to Japan? I doubt
that the main islands will be in this new, exciting sounding simulation...

First, I doubt the most massive battleship would fit in a Betty (and it's Yamato not Yamoto, but anyways, I'm smart enough to know you mean Yamamoto :P ).
As for flying for several hours, IMO if they don't include missions that allow you to do this they're missing a very large part of the Pacific, flying over water (and islands) for long periods having to navigate, often on instruments, and then hitting airfields or fleets, which would be moving and may not be where you expect them to be.

And back to topic, I think the Doolittle raid would be fun, although the only opposition would most likely be some AA guns, only if you had to actually navigate to the islands http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
