OK, forgive if this questions sounds rather "Uninformed". I'd like ot do some research on computer gaming conventions, namly, ones that focus on multiplayer games and competitions. Which ones are out there?

There's all sorts of stuff. Just depends what game you wanna concentrate on, or what genre, etc.

Just google Lanwar, like baldie says, and you'll find a bunch of stuff. And quite often, if you go to the main website of whatever game you are looking for, there may be some mention of a tournament or something (mostly fps's have this info I think).

Accually, I'm in the early "Looking into" phases of possible creating a gaming convention here in Phoenix. I am considering having a couple of different genre of games. I know this is a huge undertaking and wanted to get in touch with others who have done it to see what all is involved.
