Since my request for Il-10 to be added in flyables have been to no avail, I thought I could start a discussion about another plane, which I guess is even less likely to appear. This is Su-6, the most important rival of Il-2. At the time it clearly outperformed Il-2 and had greater survivability with its radial engine. However, the engine was also its weak point; low amount was available at the time and later those radials were badly needed for fighters. Finally the Su-6 lost the game, as Il-10 outperformed it.

Again a plane that was only test-flown, but I think it is interesting if you think about the Il-2 story. Anyone knows anything about anyone been even thinking modeling Su-6?

By the way, I am really excited about the coming Pe-2. Great! (Perhaps some day also Il-10? ...No? ...Not even a tiny bit?
