Yeah, the alien planes are the ultimate n00b planes. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif It does strike me as somewhat surprising that: a) the script writer chose the p-40 0f all things to be the SUPERPLANE(as opposed to Mustang or Spitfire or Messer) b) the crappy .50's on the Hawk are able to take out those hightech bird-like things. DM definitely needs to be looked at... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

The landing struts on the P-40 retract togeter in the trailer, that should be fixed. Do those robots have 8 30mm canons? they have 8 of something big. Definatly a n00b plane.

The flying robots are actually two 109Z's, hooked up together.....

Good hunting,

What this film is missing is John Belushi. No one flies a P40 like him.

should be a decent film. the live action stuff was shot about 2 years ago and has been in post-production since. there was lots of blue screen work. i key gripped for the Dir. of Photography of this film on another film. should be worth seeing.

what a waste of good effects, I wish speilberg or lucas arts would make a band of brothers style film or series about pilots and different squadron, showing the side from the US british Germans side with subtitles and same with the russians. A film like that with very good unknown actors like band of brother would be excellent. I think the band of brothers actors were better then most of the multimillionair fad stars.

That film looks dumb enough to actually be intertaining http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
But look at those muzzle flashes, not realistic at all!!!! Unlike the other stuff http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Looks hilarious! Should be a good comedy! When's this set? 1939? And they're using a P-40E? HAH! This is definitely something to see if hardcore plane jockeys like us want a good laugh. Looks like it'll have some okay action in it though.

Well, You can tell a movie is going to be bad when they recycle theme music from another movie. The music playing during the trailer appears to be from Independance Day, a movie where F-18's ruled the roost. Conspiracy?

Actually, it's the theme music from Stargate SG1 http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Cripes guys, lighten up! This movie isn't supposed to be realistic!!

Look at is as being in the style of a comic book.

P-40 is a very good choice for such a film, it's styling just breathes that early 40's feel. Another good one would have been P-38, but what really tips the scale for the Warhawk's favour is the nose art and the way that radiator was just designed to have teeth painted on it. Spits & Messers, even though stylish designs as well, do not have quite the "edge" of P40. Spits are too "pretty" and Messers.. well, they just are, you can't really do a "cool" paintjob for them (teeth vs. bug eyes, the choice is clear).

Rick Gomez, an unknown? He was Endless Mike! Endless Mike! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Whenever I see him crawling around in Band of Brothers, I kind of chuckle and think of his bully days on the Adventures of Pete and Pete.

Looks better than Pearl Harbor... Old Ben's Aflicks Big Bomb of a film. Cut out every shot with him in it and you'll have one Hec of a Movie.
