ok i am a noob as prev. stated and i was wondering if the ammo count for all of the guns is accurate to the RL models, ok well thank u

I never tried to count it but I believe it is. In RL pilots used to judge their ammo loadout by knowing the RPM and then ticking off seconds. I'm sure if it was off one of our chart wielding experts would have caugt it by now. There are some pretty savy folks who frequent these forums.

They did attempt to make it accurate.
For example the P-39s have 30 37mm shells while the P-63 has 60.

Most of the German planes have ammo indicators in the cockpit. They're white tubes that drain as the ammo does.

ok thnx i thought that is was kinda odd for howl long u could fire some of the guns on the planes before running out of ammo.

Look for a ****.log file in some of the directories. I found one in the NGen folder that recorded all the stats for my on-line missions including rounds fired and rounds hit. Yikes!!! Not a pretty picture!

Anyway, it had my offline missions too. Not sure it had the stats on those. You can open it with Notepad once you find it.
