The game designers catch a lot of s--- around here. And quite frankly, I think that's unfair. Some of the criticisms they receive are fair; many are not. But the people criticizing often forget to mention:

THIS IS UNQUESTIONABLY THE BEST WWII FLIGHT SIM ON THE MARKET, AND POSSIBLY THE BEST FLIGHT SIM OF ALL TIME.

The graphics are stunning.

The scope of gameplay is stunning: from biplane dogfights to flying jet aircraft to intercept heavy bombers, to flying those heavy bombers themselves.

The sheer number of flyable aircraft is stunning, especially when compared to other products on the market.

The flight modeling is excellent, certainly when compared to other products on the market.

The realism panel allows the gamer huge flexibility. Want an ultra-realistic sim, where you monitor the details of your engine and propeller pitch? FB can accomodate you. Just want to blow up some Focke-Wulfs and not sweat the details? FB can accomodate you too.

This game is just plain fun.

So to Oleg Maddox and everyone else who has worked hard to create IL-2 Forgotten Battles: THANK YOU. I wish you heard that more often.

I just received my copy of AEP from ubi

Holly SChniekees Tommy boy !

The J8 cockpit? wOw. The Spits? sweet.
Flying twin engined P38's and Bf110's? priceless. All are operating smoothly on my same ol' but soon to be upgraded machine.

I cannot say Thank-you in big enough letters
to Oleg Maddox and all others responsible for
making this flight sim happen to do it justice.

THANK-YOU ALL
