easy answer for the US. Start planning and organizing.

I'm a crappy pilot, but one hell of a shot.

I would also like to attend this event.

I think I read someplace that you have to be in a squad (can anyone verify this for me please ? ) and may have to take your own pc to the event ?.

My only consideration is, that it mentions Forgotten Battles but which version will they have by the time of the event ?,.. if the differences are as great as they are between versions 1.0 and 1.1beta there may not be enough time to learn adaquatley either the new flight models or the newer aircraft available ?.

Most likely the latest version will be used.
You have to bring a PC to the event yourself to compete. You do not have to be in a squad as far as I know.

Hello,

Thanks to all Oleg team for the v1.1 Patch, it is really a good job especially because I play with a small modem 56k and it is well better now.
Concerning the some small bugs http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif I noticed that the returns of the players concerning these bugs are somewhat disordered and redundant. To obtain better results for the information feedback of the players would be to warn the principal sites (2 or 3 per country) which would list the remarks of the players in the filter ones and check the infos and would submit reports/ratios official and well done with Maddox: Less work for you and a community of players welded and happy to take an active part in the development of this superb simulator!
For France the best 2 sites are:
www.checksix-fr.com (http://www.checksix-fr.com) and
www.france-simulation.com (http://www.france-simulation.com)
These sites of impassioned started already to join together serious infos and sorted by categories. They inform day per day all the community of French-speaking players.

We're still finalizing the plans for the setup. The event will be challenging and fun and it is a unique opportunity to meet other IL2 pilots in a wonderful location.

And please don't be scared by the competitive part. Not all participants are aces. Most of us participate to have fun and learn from others. So don't be shy and join the competition. If you don't win the competition you can be sure that you're not the only one /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

You have to bring your own gear, but you don't need to be in squad. However we will fly in teams of 4 pilots during the event, so we'll have to form temporary squadrons.

We will provide a Teamspeak server for team communication during the flights, so please bring your headset as well.

We want to make this a great event and if you have any comments or want to contribute missions, ideas or prizes you're welcome to put your feedback here:
