Is therre any way to shorten the "travel" or throw of a throttle. setting dead band in the stick program just cuts down the amount. i.e. goes from 30% to 90% power.

Hmmm, have you tried calibrating it in Windows with a shorter throw? Not sure if this will 'stick' (stay) for USB joysticks, but seems like it should work.

Go here --------> http://www.wingmanteam.com/latest_software/gadgets.htm

download DX tweek 2 (program is not an install) just run it from your desktop. Change the throw on any usb or gameport device you have. Enjoy http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Yes you can set a shorter 'throw' in windows calibration, even on USB controllers.
