Hi,

Today I flew some P-47 USAAF missions in that beautiful Campaign. When we had to fly P-40,s I wondered if it isn,t better to cut those weird thick cables. It looks like a F..suspension bridge!Perhaps thinner lines are possible? What do you think about this?

I don`t know much about the P-40, but the cables are noticable aren`t they? Still, it`s the same in the WWII footage (though sometimes hard to see due to phot quality).

Well, if they were there in real life they have to stay in the sim too.

As for their use? Aelirons? Stability? Rudder controls. They`re vtal for something! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
