Oleg,

We are using La5 in Forgotten Skies missions and have noticed that after the AEP upgrade, the ai do not follow commands.

We have a flight of 4 La5 and when a pilot selects the #3 aircraft, he is not able to command the #4 aircraft. #4 does respond verbally to commands such as "rejoin" or "cover me" but it tends to fly on its own course far away from #3.

When I tried the #1 aircraft and commanded a flight of 4 La5 I issued the command "wingman attack bombers" when I spotted 2 Ju-87. My #2 aircraft rolled right and struck #3, destroying both. In hindsight, that was a foolish command to issue but its interresting that the ai do not avoid each other.

Tonight, I flew #1 of a 3 aircraft Yak-1B group and #2 and #3 followed orders very well http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

Thanks for giving this your attention,
Mtn.

OMG. I have been using the search function trying to find out what is going on. I reflew that mission solo a couple times to try some things. Same problem with 109G2s. They will rejoin and cover you, but if you tell them to drop tanks, or attack any sort of ground targets they say "unable to comply".

Earlier I had played with a Bf110G2 and when I told my wingman to attack tanks he went ahead and strafed them (he had no bombs), but the 109G2s in that mission would not attack any ground targets. In 1.22 it was no problem.

cc. it's across the board - they don't listen well for most aircraft.

veteran helps somewhat - not sure how much.

Salute!

Try giving them hand signals..

The middle finger works well with human pilots!
