Those Battleships are so detailed and beautiful, can you add an option to be able to walk around on them and man a AAA gun to defend them against air attack???

I'm sorry, but I think you won't be as impressed when you saw the battleships close up. The fact is, this is a flight sim and ground objects aren't as detailed as in, let's say, a FPS.

The new T7 destroyer '44 is quite a nice model. Nice to see some new ships in 1.2. Didn't notice them in the addon ground objects list earlier.

It would indeed be nice to be able to control small AA pieces manually, and there is already code to control turret guns in planes. Don't know if it's particularly a feature 1C wish to implement at this stage, though.

Go play battlefield 1942, that's more suited to your needs. This is a flight sim, and we stick to flight simulation.

Sure, it'd be arcadey and BF1942-ish, but being able to man AA positions would be cool. Merely cool.

In WW2OL I've had several good "flak moments". My first flak kill was on a d.520. The nutcase flying it rolled 90 degress to orbit my base. He was at 200m, doing maybe 230kph and "presenting" (in the animal husbandry sense) himself in perfect plan view. I lit him up like a Roman candle with 20mm matches. Another good one was a Blenheim which had just passed me on a strafing run. I frantically swivelled my gun around and put a 20mm into his fuel tank from about 100m away. I have a mental screenshot of the Blen overflowing my sights and the flames starting to shoot out.

Go ahead, lock the thread, I'm not proud.
