I own a PC with GTX 1060 graphics card. One of my friends told me to replace the HDD with an SSD as the AC Unity game becomes highly responsive when It is installed on SSD. Is this true? Is there any benefit of addding a SSD to the PC?

Thanks,
Tim

I can't compare Unity's performance, as I've only been able to play it on my current gaming rig which has a SDD in it. I can, however, state that the game performs beautifully on it, so...

An SSD might add 1 to 3 fps in places during game play but where it really wins is booting up windows and loading screens in games. My Pc is at desktop in about 24 seconds but over a minute from HDD and games can cut anything from 3 to 4 seconds to a minute off loading screen times.

I remember one of the AC games (maybe AC2) that the horses would only trot but if the game was installed to SSD the horses would gallop faster.

So it saves a lot of time as these comparisons show in the video below but it doesn't really add much to performance. But I couldn't do without one now, especially when playing online.
