I've not problems at the moment and I follow the "If it ain't broke..." rule. But thanks for the heads up. You shall now be the last one to die when my final plan comes into fruition.

Thanks!

Currently I have a very irritating probem with Audigy 2 - I can't record anything. All I get is total silence.

Since I upgraded from SB Live! 1024 I get choppier video playback as well. I hope this update is going to help!

Jasko

Rajvosa, that sounds like a freaky problem. What edition and driver version are you using at the moment?

Yeah, it's really irritating since I'm an amateur musician too.

I use 4.0 drivers currently.

If the sound quality of Audigy 2 was not so superior to SB Live!, I'd go back in an instant just to avoid these problems.

The new driver is pretty good. Stuff sounds slightly cleaner, with better bass speration.

I hope the new drivers do the trick for you as I'm not an expert at troubleshooting soundcards, although I really should keep up to date with the tech now that I am trying to record with it.

Ummm... I really don't know how to take that comment on being a musician by you. Sarcasm or a joke? Which program are you using, for what kind of music?
