You deserve an "Oscar" for all your efforts. Well done.

Fun to fly, but not fun to be shot at... When compared to Ki-43, the A6M actually looks tough. It's like being in a Cessna with guns.http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Dunno, are you doing any? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Gibbage, nice to see your new career has not put a cramp on your creative talent http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The Ki-43 is a great choice, it was the IJA's most deployed fighter by far..... and as such was one of Japan's main WW2 fighters.

"As weaponry, both were good, but in far different ways from each other. In a nutshell, I describe it this way: if the FW 190 was a sabre, the 109 was a florett, or foil, like that used in the precision art of fencing." - Gunther Rall

"The best fighters I met in combat were the American P-51 Mustang and Russian Yak-9U. Both of those types obviously exceeded all Bf109 variants in performance, including the K'. The Mustang was unmatched in altitude performance, while the Yak-9U was champion in rate of climb and maneuverability."

Gibbage,

Will you be making a Ki-43-II with the heavy 13mm MGs also? All the early Ki-43 can do is annoy P-40s with those little 7.7mm peashooters. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I really enjoy the Japanese a/c. Thanks Gibbage!

Fantastic work, Gib, and a great plane into which to put your effort.

I second (or third) the recommedation for a later model as well http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif.

This is Awsum News indeed. Ki~43 would be the BEST plane to sim, ever.

However, is Ki~43 for the FB? A weird Question perhaps, but....

Gibbage::
quote:
OK. I know a lot of people here are saying "WTF? Ki-43? Were did that come from!!!".

For FB this could be seen as a valid Question, although FB desperately needs a Ki~43 to be used as a substitute stand-in for Ki~27 against I~16s and I~153s. Will the Ki~43 of "The New Sim of Unkown Threatre" be available in FB's Full Mission Builder? That is the Valid Question.

Lex you must still be thinking FB is an Eastern front only Sim.

It was never meant to BE an eastern front only sim. that was IL-2. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
