Found this one at Hyperscale; bear in mind that this was done in 1/72nd scale.

OMG, now that is a thing of beauty http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif. I only wish I could model that realisticly. Working in 1/72 scale is quite a chore IMHO, all those small parts. I work only in 1/48 scale and its rather diffucult at times to get small parts where they need to be(even with the right tools). Some day Ill be able to model bada** models that look real, I would say Im barely in the novice-intermediate catagorie. Very nice detail.

You are about to embark upon a Great Crusade toward which we have strived these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you. Good Luck! And let us all beseech the blessing of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking" - Gen. Dwight D. Eiseinhower-Supreme Allied Commander.

Great job for any scale...but in 1/72, a real tour de force. Thanks for posting...

But they never say if that model was built from scratch, a kit or a kit that was heavily modified.
Would be nice to know.

1/72 has always been a pleasing and practical size to me. He did a good job. I still have the yearning if only the time, but it may end up a teenage memory. Nice to see http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
