Everytime I start flying I have to trim down about 15-20 clicks shift+uparrow (depending on aircraft) to fly level. Would like to map this sequence to just one button on the EVO, but failed so far. Anyone who made it?

If you don't use your hat switch for looking around you might be able to assign that task to it. I never used the hat switch on my Evo for looking around [mouse, and tracker3]so i assigned flaps an landing gear to it. Left flaps down right flaps up etc. Cheers! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Set your trimm down to just a single key.. up arrow . And programa macro at saitek profile editor for 10 strokes .

If brute force does not solve your problem... you are not using enough!

Thanks I´ll try that. Guess when I failed before I tried to do such a macro with the ctrl+uparrow.

I still use it for looking around, and never use padlock. It´s too hard http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif Got some buttons for a few other views too, but my SA is bad.

The macro worked, but only 70% of the time. Sometimes the command does nothing. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/52.gif

Try NewView for improving coolie hat-view panning can work great. You just need to trouble a little setting it up correctly, and adjusting pan speeds and acceleration.

I use mouse wheel for vertical trim.

K m8.. thanks for the tips! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Got the macro working most of the time now. One for 10x trim down, and one for 5x trim up.

The thing that clicked mostly was the joybutton for cancel trim settings.
