I'm in Miami and might have to start preparing the house tomorrow. I'm wondering if anyone else here is within the projected path of the storm. It would be a darn shame for the electricity to get knocked out and to miss all these great updates and community questions getting answered! If so, thank you all for the great ideas, opinions, and information we've shared! Hopefully those of us in the storm's path won't be gone too long!

Paximus14, Hope nothing happens to your area. Been very bad the last storm. I hope the storm just dies down or misses you. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/10.gif

I live in the Tampa area and the way it looks is she will come close to us but the forecast seems to show that by the time she crosses the state she will have died down to a tropical storm.

Here's hoping that she miss the state completly and go of to play in the atlantic! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/52.gif

Well the thing's slowed down a bit so we've got a little more time here to prepare. Hitech, you guys really dodged Charlie! That thing would have been devastating to that area, good thing it didn't.

You better believe that I'm gonna open up my door and pretend I'm Leutnant Werner on the bridge of U-96 screaming away with glee http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

As a piece of heavy debris knocks off my head.

I better stay inside.

Not to worry about Flying Fish, Flying Boats and Cars are lot more to to hide from. But now that the storm is breaking up some and should break up some more before it hit Florida, things are looking better here.

Paximus14, you take care down there. As I write this (17:55) you are just getting some of the feeder band there, Hang Tight Buddy.
