There is a free add-on that is scheduled to be released in Oct.(?) and a Paid add-on for sometime in Dec.(?)

Look for the Ta152 in Dec.

I'm sorry all FW fans but it has to be said that the TA152 is one of the worst looking German fighters of the entire history of the german airforce. I personally like the A5 shape best, that really suits the nickname 'Butcher Bird' the D models is where IMHO that they started to lose it with the looks, the fuselage got to long and then when they done the TA152 look at those wings, there huge bloody great long narrow chord wings and look most amusing, and make pretty big targets for my 20mm ShvaK.

I personally think the later FW's and Ta's look really, really good. They look, well, "elegant". The short-nosed FW190's look good too in their own regard. They look very different.

Oh, and you won't be talking like that when you and your ShvaK are on the receiving end of four MG151's and one MK103! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Dare I say it? Damn the TA - 152 has that ruddy bar across the forward view as well.

Well, it doesnt't matter how it looked as long as it fought.

The I16 or the p47 are no beauties either. Neverthless I like the jug. BUt what use is the TA-152 with this crappy cockpit? ICMaddox sticks to this crap barren cockpit they can keep it. So much obvious misinterpretation, so much proof.... *sigh

The Red air force "sheds" would struggle to get a Ta-152 in their 20mmSHvak sight in the first place---Ho, Ho, Ho!

AFAIK the only russian planes that went up against the Ta 152 was the Yak-9. I'm not sure which version but it was in 1945. The Yak's didn't stand much of a chance during that engagement.

I must admit that I had problems accepting the long wings on the Ta 152H but I have come like them aswell. But the ultimate Fw/Ta was the Ta 152C! It's so good looking it's almost criminal!/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

It was the Yak-9U, UT and P, I guess. They were powered by the 1,650 HP Klimov M-107A, so they were fast and climbed well and high (version U: we have it in FB, entered in '44; version UT: few Yak-9U with a light alloy stressed skinning over the entire airframe, entered in early '45; version P: same as U with 3 ShVAKs)

Maybe also some Yak-3 with the same engine (only very few of them were produced due to M-107A engine shortage).

I agree. Ta-152C looks better and makes more sense in IL2FB. But AFAIK it didn't enter service.
