Oleg gives an interview to pc pilot mag I think it dates back to blackpool but a good read.

One thing Oleg mentions that the flak will be very
heavy over late war US carriers.
Quote
"They were absolute flak monsters with dozens of guns concentrating fire on you- not to mention the escorts. Getting through will take more luck than skill!"

Kewl ! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif I'm not a subscriber, but I'll pick up this issue. It looks to be a keeper.

There's also a picture of Oleg with the Ubisoft crew (I'm on the right of the picture) on page 41 of PC Pilot http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Did you guys read the fine print at the end? To paraphrase Oleg: "If you thought the carrier landings in other sims were hard, wait until you try and land on a rolling and pitching ship in low-visibility conditions in Pacific Fighters!"
In the same article he mentions "op's will range from relatively easy, to extremly hard, to downright impossible." I love this guy... I can just imagine trying to land when you can't see the Carrier. Lot's of buys ditched when they just plain couldn't see well enough on late night landings. I wonder if that's why they showed the image of the liferaft? Yep, that's not luthier in the image but me. LOL. All the best, LongHorn
