View Full Version : Should I Buy This? DE-005-02

When I played the beta I could only play for 5 minutes at a time before I got error code DE-005-02 do I had short 5 minute plays of the game before I was brought to the menu and had to restart another 5 minute play session, it was quite obnoxious. If anyone who had that same problem knows if the main game doesn't have it please let me know?

Also, I am on university internet. I saw some others who had DE-005-02 were on university internet. Please don't tell me I cannot play your game because I go to college :nonchalance:

if i had to guess man its because of something to do with your schools isp or how they have it setup. ask them about it

That's the issue it's the university's internet, they're not going to go and change some settings on a dorm's connection just for me to play a snowboard game.

I'm having the same issue, also on university internet. I really don't want to return this game... there has to be a reason for this error besides some mystery router problem because I haven't had issues with any other games. I've also looked everywhere for any info on the error message and I cant find anything. Could someone let us know what DE-005-02 actually means? I found a similar issue in another thread (DE-008-02) <http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1528467-Error-de-008-02-ps4> , but that was because of an issue with his account switching from Playstation to PC, which is not relevant to me.

I usually get disconnected at almost exactly two minutes from connecting, and it ends up resetting me to a checkpoint. Unfortunately, I only have around 45 minutes of ingame time left before I hit the 2 hour limit for steam returns so I dont have unlimited time to troubleshoot this.

Any help would be appreciated, I really want to enjoy this game but I will have to return it if I cant fix it before the two week refund limit comes around.

***I dont have access to my schools modem, router, or isp settings.
