I see the game picture and then it crashes without any error message
tried to run as admin , reinstall, change the drive.
nothng works

Crash on startup on Uplay, watch dogs 2 works fine on steam before but now crash on both... :mad:

Same here after played 3 hours on the game today game won't launch, i'v send many times the uplay crash report but for now game won't work

Yeah and know we all wait one or two weeks until someone from a Callcenter answers us with the words:"did u try tu Update ur...." because they don't know what's going on and what to tell us! Ubisoft plz don't **** the PC gamers all the time!

edit: Btw i think its a Config Problem, looks like it.... any way to reset the games config?

Come on Ubisoft, I bought the game and am not able to play. I have not even come to the menu. FIX YOUR ****. No answer from support, no recognition of the problem. Phone support is asking me to reinstall the game, and when I said already done that on different hard drives, they ask me to do it again.

I will give you 1 week to fix it, or I will get a refund.

found the answer guys!
I've uninstalled the game completely and then redownloaded it and when the game became playable I launched it and played until it fully downloaded now everything works.
worked for me atleast

Good for you. Already tried it.. No luck I can't even get passed the Ubisoft Logo

I'm also having this issue. I'm in contact with the support after have sent those files. Just hoping they will respond soon, haven't heard from them in about 6 hours. I'll make sure to post a reply in this thread if i somehow manage to start the game. I dont even get past the splash screen.

Finally after a long time to try i can launch the game !!

after a fully new reeinstall of windows, of course driver for all component of the computer, latest nvidia drivers etc

i'v installed all VC redist (x64 and x86)

reeinstalled new uplay, donwloaded the game again for a full freesh install

After all game won't lanch so i'v tried many other things

For streaming and youtube video i have some device plugged on computer (Blue yeti mic / steel series siberia p800 wirless headset / logitech c615 cam / live gamer portable 2)

"steel series siberia p800 wirless headset" And "logitech c615 cam" was plugged on USB 2.0 port with an Dlink usb concentrator

"Blue yeti mic" and "live gamer portable 2" was directly plugged on back of the computer

i tried to pull off all concentrator disconnected from the computer and all other devices too, i dont have made other test at ths time but i can launch the game !!

So for now i think the game dont love multiple sound card (headset / yeti / live gamer portable was on usb so windows detect it as sound devices)
or the game dont love combo with multple mic (headset / yeti / webcam)

I hope you can also solve your problem with the game !

nope... not working... and i cant even log into uplay anymore since yesterday afternoon. dont know whats going on... i paid 70€ and did not even got an answer from the support. My ticket is from Dez.2 and nobody cares... GG ubisoft

I made a post about it elsewhere. The game either crashed on the splash screen or was stuck there infinitely for me. The solution was to disconnect my usb wi fi adapter from the usb hub.. So try disconnecting various stuff from your usb ports, it might help.
