From the Open Beta, we have discovered three steps in the on-boarding/tutorial of the game where some players may have encountered a few issues.

So we've put together this guide and quick tips to ensure your tutorial/on-boarding goes smoothly.

ISSUE #1

Objective: Use Binoculars To Find And Unlock Drop Zone REFUGE DU LESSY
Info Displayed: Press LB/L1 To Equip The BINOCULARS

What Could Go Wrong:
After you have started the challenge, your rider will automatically stop when you reach the scouting area. In order to continue, you will need to open your binoculars by pressing LB/L1. If you continue without unlocking the Drop Zone, then the UI will continue to inform you of the Drop Zone location even if you are too far away to unlock it.

How To Solve This:
In order to resolve this, we suggest restarting the challenge. When you reach the correct spot on the map, the rider will automatically stop again. At this time, we suggest using the binoculars to locate the Drop Zone (orange marker). Once you look at the orange marker on your map, the Drop Zone will unlock.

You can also still find the original scouting area, by viewing the map below (you can place a flag at the position of the cursor in the Mountain View by clicking on the right stick).

ISSUE #2

Objective: Get Bronze On The DEXTERITY DRIFT & WILDLANDS Challenges

What Could Go Wrong:

You complete one of the challenges but don't get Bronze.
You are unsure on how to go to another challenge.

How To Solve This:
You have to get the BRONZE medal in each challenge before you can continue.

Tips for DEXTERITY DRIFT: Push the left stick forward to gain speed.

Tips for WILDLANDS: Pull the left stick down to hold back your flight and avoid crashing on the ground. You can score points by riding close to trees, electrical poles, and other obstacles.

To move from one challenge to another, hold circle/B to go back to Mountain View whenever and wherever you are.
If you are lost in the Mountain View, you can double press Circle/B to reset the camera and go back to a group of challenges.

ISSUE #3
Objective: Get Bronze On The BARGY & BUTTERFLY Challenges

What Could Go Wrong:

You complete a challenge but don't get Bronze.
You are unsure on how to go to another challenge.
You have issues performing tricks.
You have issues controlling the paraglide.

How To Solve This:
You have to get the BRONZE medal in each challenge to move forward.
To move from one challenge to another, hold circle/B to go back to Mountain View whenever and wherever you are.
If you are lost in the Mountain View, you can double press Circle/B to reset the camera and go back.

Tips for BARGY:
Timing is important when it comes to tricks.
You have to release the jump (using the left trigger) a bit before the end of the kick (when you enter the blue zone painted on the kick).
You have to push a direction on the left stick to define a rotation, as soon as you release the jump.

Tips for BUTTERFLY:
Keep in mind that Paragliding is a bit more sensitive than the other sports.
We have improved the controls, camera, and we have reduced inertia since the Open Beta.
It’s important to start with the controls of the paraglide is not to stress the left stick permanently, as soon as your paraglide is aligned toward the direction you want to go, stop using the left stick.
Try not to use the left thumbstick too much, when Paragliding. As soon as your paraglider is aligned in the direction you want to go, then let go of the left thumbstick.
Do not try to compensate the inertia, wait for it to be over before adjusting your trajectory.
