Nope http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

You know what they say, "its not what you got, its what you do with it" http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/34.gif

"As weaponry, both were good, but in far different ways from each other. In a nutshell, I describe it this way: if the FW 190 was a sabre, the 109 was a florett, or foil, like that used in the precision art of fencing." - Gunther Rall

Look Noobie, we already told you, we don't have the Patch!

You know the sigs that go:-

Processor:- Deep Blue
Memory:- 180 Terrabytes of 800DDR
Graphics card: 2x Nvidia FX12000s (both overclocked to the speed of light)

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

yep, pretty strange indeed http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/52.gif

How many have bragged about their own system? Whether it suites the ego for the moment, or a constant reminder, people all over the net identify with their machine and accessories. And even though you haven't said it, its pathetic. Meanwhile, I'm looking forward to my TIR3. Suck it up joes http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/mockface.gif

There was a request a long time ago in the tech help forum for folks to put their system specs in their sigs so they don't have to type them in each time so I guess it's a hold over from that. As for me I like my monster bish. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/59.gif

It's not in my sig, but I don't mind seeing what everyone else is sporting on their machine. I wish that the guys with lower specs would do it, so that the others with high-end rigs can see that it doesn't take a super-computer to run the game. I know a guy that has a Duron 850 that will run FB pretty darn good on excellent settings.

System spec sigs are more of a Techie forum thing. Almost all have those types of sigs. To each his own I say.

BTW, does it really bother you or are you just bored today? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

To be honest, that kind of stuff is so weird that as soon as I see it I scroll right past without reading it. I couldn't care less about their system. I often just scroll past what that person says too, because again, I couldn't care less.

But I really need to make it this:

That would hold me over nicely until the 64-Bit systems become mainstream. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

I'm going to put detailed specs in my sig soon. I feel that my coffee pot is of exceptional quality, and everyone needs to know about it.

Specs:
More expensive than the dining set.
Less expensive than the couch.
Smaller than the dishwasher.
Just as noisy as the refridgerator.
Faster than the cars' computer.
Less practical than the car.
Face it, people who put thier computer specs in thier signature are pretty ****ing wierd.

Baldie, your sig is class http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/11.gif and I share your sentiments and those of Negative GEE -"its not what you got, its what you do with it" http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

However for one time and one time only (outside of needing help or a tech query), I will post my complete specs <yawn>:

P4 1.8
512 DDR 266
XP Pro
Viglen Envy 17TS 17" Monitor (a rebadged Tatung job - not sure which one)
Onboard Graphics*
20GB Maxtor HD
Samsung 52X CDROM
Sony CRX 195E1 40X12X48(hacked with liteon firmware) to 48X12X48 http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/784.gif
Canon S900
MS Sidewinder FFB 2
HP Scanjet 6100C with ADF. I am rather proud of this as it has lasted an age, I've had it since '98 - long may it continue...http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/11.gif
Origo 7210 Broadband Router with 1Mbit ADSL (never going back to dial up! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/784.gif)

Not strictly PC related, but I also have a Canon Powershot G5 Digital Camera and a Sony NET MD connected to it intermittently. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

not that much to write home about is it?

* This is going to be rectified at some point by the acquisition of a 9800 PRO- when I have Time/Cash http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Connected wirelessly to this lot through the broadband router (sharing connection) is:

iMac G3 600 "Snow" special edition
Bluetooth
256 MB Ram
16MB ATI RAGE PRO Graphics
40GB HD
CD Rom
OS X 10.3 "Panther"
7 Port USB 2.0 Hub
not sure what else is in the box....

PS Baldie - glad to hear about your coffee pot, by all means get it in there mate. LOL! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
