In FB I used to run at a pretty good resolution (the one above 800x600 I believe) and I think I'm using the same resolution now. But, it seems to me that spotting bandits is 10 times harder and I can never see them-I used to be able to see them all the time in FB. Any recommendations for what I should change my resolution to?

i run at 800x600 cause i can see stuff far off way before my squad mates with faster/higher-res machines can and it helps my FPS

The lower the res, the easier it'll be for you guys to see stuff. If that surprises you, try turning all your AEP settings down as low as possible. The conclusion is that you need to find a suitable balance of ease of play and eye-candy.

I hate this, damd if you do, damd if you don't.

Even a NOOB can program larger dot sizes...I would know, I program this for spacecraft sim, using DOS era FORTRAN callable grafix of, all things.

Too bad Oleg is not a NOOB. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

Yes it can be a bit of a nuisance spotting bogeys, i use 1280 x 960 with no icons(not ideal i know, but i am a graphical ***** http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/blink.gif )and it has been known for me to chase a speck of dirt on my monitor for a few minutes thinking it was enemy aircraft http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
