I HOPE that they do a great and FAIR job!! That is, I will be VERY disappointed if Micros$ft's marketing department has gotten its talons into this program by "cooperating" with the Discovery production in some fashion. There was such a case within the past 2-3 months on either a Discovery or history channel show I believe....a segment about Flight Simulators(full size, Sit in it type, Simulators), and the screens/monitors shown were CFS2; I don't recall if Micros$ft was specifically mentioned, but that was what they used.

Yes they do look like crap, but i don´t think that they put much effort to make it beautiful, just realistic!

Greetings,

I checked on-line on Discovery web site info about show. They have 2 min preview which talks only about MSFS 2004. IMHO, I am afraid it is going to be MSFS oriented show.

By the way, does anybody knows, were MS Flight Sim and Combat Sim built on same math algorithms/flight models?

Regards,

Taras

The discovery channel show that showed CFS2 in a sittable cockpit was "Conquest". It did NOT say it was a microsoft product, not that I heard. I listened to see if they said that it was CFS2, but never heard anything.

Why wouldn't they talk alot about MFS 2004? Its brand new, a special edition for the 100th year of flight. Ya, lets paint Microsoft as a bad guy for trying to get some press about a new product.

there is in fact some special documentary on the history of flight being made sponsored and paid for by microsoft as a promo and featuring a lot of FS2004 in with the historical footage

perhaps that is what you saw an advertisement for
