Found a very good article here with some beautiful pics of a big-tailed Dora model

http://hsfeatures.com/fw190d9bigtailrf_1.htm

I wouldn't mind driving one of these around the block a time or two...

Cheers

Wow, that is a darn nice looking model. The paint finish is some of the best I've ever seen...what is interesting is the flat tone he has achieved with it, something you don't see all that often. The cockpit painting is excellent and if you look carefully you can see lots of small scratches and chips on the plane's skin...awesome.

I wish I had one of these too http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

(and you'll notice it's Black 6 w00t!)

Excellent link Horse, thank you!

Excellently done model...puts the Tempest sitting in pieces in my basement to utter utter shame. Probably still will even when I'm finished! Thanks for the article...this plane has slowly become quite a favorite of mine.
