1.2 beta was great d27 vs 190a4-9 the mustang manueverabilty "but the stang was definatly way to fast" Now its seems more stick pressure at slower speeds were added to the d27 and stang but the d27 climb is increased and it has a slightly better roll then from 1.11 Now the 190s seems to have thier super roll back which is the reason i wanted to get away from 1.11 so badly, but they are very killable now

Yes very fixed...very managable now. The new D-10 and D-22 skins are also very nice too see now too!

It seems to stall alot in the 300kph range however. I need to test further.

THE D-27 skin also is good and yes is alot better than the 1.11 also the plane is more stable when the guns are fire... /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Rollrate definitely much better than the original version. The next step is to fix that P-40. That's a rig in need of some re-evaluatin'!

The roll rate is still incorrect. At low speeds the P-47 is rolling to quickly, and at high speeds it is rolling to slowly.

Buzzsaw, I bieve posted some charts documenting NACA tests on several different configurations for the aileron linkage, both the improve the roll performance, and fix some flutter problems the P-47B's ailerons were having.

Two new configurations were tested, one that overall increased the aileron's range of travel, but did not improve the pilot's leverage, the other had a somewhat smaller range of travel, but greater than the original configuration, but had greater leverage for the pilot than the other two.

The one with the largest range of travel netted huge improvements in low speed roll rate, but the roll rate dropped off sharply with speed.

The varient with the only slightly larger range of travel, but increased leverage resulted in marginal improvement in low speed roll rate, but netted large gain in high speed roll rate.

The NACA and Republic engineers opted for the configuration with the slightly increased range of travel, and increased leverage. 1C:Maddox games seems to have opted for the configuration with the greatly increased range of travel, without the increased pilot leverage.

I've tried to get ahodl of Buzzsaw about the charts, but I can't seem to do so. Possibly he may not want to be involed in another round of flightmodel flame wars. What with the vehmence of both sides on the issue, I personally don't blame him at all.
