First i want to thank Oleg and is team for a great product. Ace expansion rocks!!

But...Dear Oleg, why doesnt The P51d have manual supercharger control? The switch for stage 1, stage 2 and auto is modeled in the cockpit but not as a control.
If another patch comes out, could you pls give us manual supercharger control again. I would really help the P51d from 4600 to 5600 meters alt.

I think by default the P-51D's historically had their own auto supercharger. I don't think they can model switching between auto and manual on the supercharger so they have modeled the way that it was used most by pilots. One of the reasons the P-51 was so successful was that it was easy to fly and manage, even by less experienced pilots, and with alot of automation built in (somewhat like the FW190 which also had some automation) it was easy on the pilots that way.

Apparently it works on a pressure gauge system and once the pressure reached a certain point the supercharger kicked in.

The P51d had manual supercharger when it first came to the game. One patch later it was gone. In the real P51d pilots where able to switch it manually or leave it on auto.

Simply because currently we can't model both systems at once. We can one of them, so preffered the auto.
