View Full Version : whats the altimeter dial reading in the Hurricane?

Hi,
flying the hurri in the RAF campaign, great fun etc. but can anyone explain the altimeter in the Hurri. what do the figures on thedial represent and what do the small hand and the big hand read (btw i have put in my time on the mickey mouse watch some 30 yrs ago!)

Big hand, thousands of feet.
Small hand, hundreds of feet.

This will confuse you if you're using the speedbar as it displays in metres. For quick and dirty conversion, there are about three feet in a metre.

Still dirty but a bit closer, 3m ~ 10ft
or 10m ~ 33ft
